[How to get and connect to a shell account]

Step one:

You have to get a shell account. A shell account is a command-prompt using either Linux, Unix or another language, from that you'll be hacking. You can get the account almost anywhere, and it is free. Sign up for a free account, somewhere and move on to step two.

Step two:

Now you've got a shell account, you can try log in to it. Open telnet (telnet.exe is located in your windows library) choose remote system in the menu, and type in the location of your shell account.
